Guest experience · Anonymous guest reporting

A guest with a problem, and a placard within reach.

Foyer's starting point. A QR placard wherever problems happen — restrooms, entrances, lifts, corridors, queues, seating, back-of-house. A guest scans with the phone camera, takes about thirty seconds, installs nothing and signs in to nothing, and the report arrives already knowing which site and which area it came from.

How it works

From the moment it happens to the moment it is fixed

  1. 1

    A guest notices something

A restroom that needs attention, a spill nobody cleared, a machine out of order, a room that is too warm. Instead of hunting for a manager, they are standing next to a placard.

  2. 2

    They scan and describe it

The phone camera opens the form. No app store, no sign-in, no email address. They pick the kind of problem, add a sentence and can attach a photo.

  3. 3

    The report arrives already located

Site and area come from the code on the placard, so nobody types a location and nobody mistypes one. A report cannot land pointing at the wrong building.

  4. 4

It becomes a case somebody works

Assignment, notes, due dates and history in the shared case queue — and the guest's own link starts showing progress.

What you get

Anonymous guest reporting, in detail

Unlimited placards, printed by you

Placards are generated in the app and printed on ordinary paper or card, as many as each location needs. They are never rationed by cost, so you can put one in every place a guest might be standing when something goes wrong.

Photos screened first

The guest form is the one door into Foyer that needs no sign-in, and a photograph is the one field that cannot be blanked — the picture is the content. Every image is checked for two things before a colleague can see it: is it safe to put in front of staff, and is it about the place the report concerns rather than a selfie. A check that fails refuses the photo instead of passing it through.

Any language in, your language out

Guests write in whatever language they think in. Foyer translates the report so your team reads it in theirs, and keeps the original text alongside so nothing is lost in the retelling.

One scan, one report

Each scan can be spent once, so pressing back does not file the same complaint three times. Scanning the placard again is the reset — something a person standing in front of it can do and a bored browser cannot.

In your kind of venue

What this looks like where you work

Hotels and resorts

Placards in guest corridors, lifts, pool areas, gyms and public restrooms catch the problem before it becomes a line in a review about the whole stay.

Restaurants and multi-unit food

Table and restroom placards let a guest say the table was never cleared while they are still sitting at it, not two days later on a review site.

Apartments and multifamily

Residents report a broken laundry machine, a lift out of service or a lighting problem in a shared corridor without waiting for the office to open.

Gyms and fitness studios

A member reports the machine out of order or the shower that runs cold at the moment they meet it, from the floor.

Self-storage

Placards at gates, lifts and corridors turn an unstaffed site into one that still tells you when the gate sticks or a light is out.

Gas and convenience

Forecourt and restroom placards report the pump, the card reader or the restroom without the customer needing to find the one person on shift.

Retail and multi-store chains

Fitting rooms, checkouts and restrooms all report to head office with the store already attached.

Questions

What operators ask about anonymous guest reporting

Do guests need an app or an account?

No. The placard is a QR code they scan with the phone camera. It opens a short web form, takes about thirty seconds and stores no guest identity.

How does Foyer know where the problem is?

Each placard code is tied to one place: a specific restroom, entrance, corridor, machine or counter. Because the code carries the site and the area, the report arrives complete.

Can somebody spam the same complaint?

Each scan can be spent once, and the AI Reviewer Agent filters junk and duplicates before anything reaches your team.

How many placards do we get?

Unlimited, on every plan, at every location. You print them yourself from the app.
